Dogfood Reviews

Below are some dog food reviews we have received from some of our very satisfied customers. Some owners had complaints about their pet's behaviour, coat or skin condition, and it was suspected this could have been down to the type of pet foods or dogfood they were feeding. By changing the brand of petfood to CLINIVET, some noticed improvements in their animal health within three or four days.

I currently feed both my Rottweilers Clinivet dog food. They are both on Clinivet Large Breed and ive been feeding Clinivet for over two years now. I show both of them and presently my male, Cooper aka "IR CH Cuchulain The Brave CW11" is currently leading as top Rottweiler being shown in Ireland. He is tip top condition and Clinivet suits him very well. He has a great coat which people often comment on and overall he is very good health. Clinivet has never given me any trouble feeding it and both my dogs thrive on it and are in perfect condition. I would highly recommend Clinivet to any dog owner to try it on their dogs.

Roxi was continually underweight for her breed and we had constant problems getting her to eat dry dog food. We tried all the different types until one day I was telling the Leonberger breeder, Jacqui, about my problem. She immediately recommended Clinivet, and Roxi, after a slow start, gradually began putting on weight until she now is a healthy 48kg and looking good.

I think the secret is both the taste, which she actually likes, and the kibble size, which suits her. Even our cat Taffie sneaks a few pieces out of the bowl when she thinks Roxi isn't looking!

We currently have six Golden Retrievers in our kennel ranging in age from 1 year old to 14 year old Chloe. We do not breed often but when we do have puppies they are weaned directly onto Clinivet Puppy and then progress onto Clinivet Adult Junior. All of our dogs are fed on Clinivet and they enjoy good quality coats and skin condition and there are no issues with digestion.

Ir Sh Ch Abinvale Piratella An Ch 10, CW11, CJW09, Ir Jun Ch has followed this feeding regime and she has recently won BIS at the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland Championship Show and to date has won 21 Green Stars at IKC shows.

We are very satisfied with the results we obtain on Clinivet.

I am the proud owner of six agility dogs who have all been reared on Clinivet. The muscle tone, energy and coat condition is fantastic on every dog. My Swedish Vallhund has now become Northern Ireland's first agility champion. Their success in agility has been incredible in the UK, and for the past three years they have been selected on to the British Kennel Club team to compete at the European Open Championships. The sport is about speed and skill, which means each dog needs to be in peak condition. Together with Clinivet, and the correct exercise this has easily been obtained.

I have found the Clinivet products of such superior standard I would not feed any other complete food.  Puppies, both terriers and Old English Sheepdogs, are contented with no tummy upsets - they have great bone and body and grow into adulthood without problems and I recommend it to all prospective puppy owners.  I have shown the adults (all fed Clinivet) with great success all gaining stud book status at an early age. I can honestly say this is the first time in 34 years  of judging, exhibiting and breeding I have put the Hibray name to any product.

Mac's coat is always in excellent condition, very shiny and never dry. Everyone comments on how well he looks when we are out walking.  Mac has boundless energy & a defined muscular look.  I don't feed him anything else therefore keeping him in top condition.

We feel that by only feeding Clinivet we are giving him the best opportunity to excel!

At five years old, a pedigree racing whippet is meant to slow up.  Not so my Whippet Club Racing Champion "Talk of the Deveil" (pet name 'Arrow').   I discovered Clinivet at Crufts in early March and have had Arrow on Adult Energy since then.  He has amazed me by beating much younger dogs and is racing consistently well.  I can confidently say that I feel his success is mainly due to his change of diet!  
My five older retired racing whippets are thriving on their Adult Senior, they love it!

I conducted an experiment on my oldest dog, Storm, over the week, he had a competition this weekend in which he would be racing 6 races and over his full height.  He's been getting stiff after racing and I've run him with a smaller dog to keep the jumps lower.  So this week was a big test.  Due to injuries he was forced to run extra races over his full height.

I switched him on the Monday to Clinivet.  He loved it of course and when Saturday came was the big test.  He raced all day full pelt and as the evening drew in I expected him to stiffen up and need his heat pad.  In actual fact he didn't stiffen up at all which has to be the first time in about 12 months.  I have been toying with retirement for him but he is still one of the quickest dogs in the country and still loves his job so he sees the osteopath regularly and I try and keep him ticking over.

So anyway that more than convinced me.  I don't know what did it but it really has worked for him.  What impressed us so much at Crufts was the knowledge of the product that your sales people had and the way you were sure to list all the ingredients.  It is incredibly well thought out and I've just proved it to myself.

I have been feeding my retriever pups (Jamie and Harvey) on Clinivet for almost six months.  I'm very happy with their appearance (shining coats) and energy levels.  The dogs really seem to enjoy the food and at this rate I will certainly be upgrading to Clinivet adult food when the time comes.

I have been feeding my English Setter "Dillon" on clinivet puppy since the day I got him when he was 9 weeks old - he's now 6 months old and growing like a ..... well, see for yourself..... The first picture of him is at 9 weeks and second was taken yesterday! 

I'm delighted with the service - so far delivery has not taken more than 2 days and Dillon is obviously delighted with the food! Would recommend Clinivet to anyone who cares about their animals well being.
