Cat Feeding Guide

KIT1CLINIVET Kitten

Kittens can be weaned onto CLINIVET Kitten from three to four weeks of age. For the first few feeds, the pet foods should be soaked thoroughly in lukewarm (not boiling) water.

Kittens need a total of 15 – 30g of food per kg of body weight per day and this total should be divided into a number of daily feeds. Very young kittens need four to five feeds per day. From four months of age this can be reduced to two or three feeds per day up to 12 months of age. It is important to keep fresh drinking water available at all times.

CLINIVET Adult Cat

When introducing CLINIVET Adult Cat catfood, do so gradually over several days. Adult cats need a total of 10 to 20g of catfood per kg of body weight per day. Adjust this if necessary to maintain the ideal body weight. It is important to keep fresh drinking water available at all times.

CLINIVET Senior Cat, CLINIVET Light Cat

When introducing CLINIVET Senior Cat or CLINIVET Light Cat catfood, do so gradually over several days. The elderly cat needs a total of 20 to 30g of catfood per kg of body weight per day. The overweight cat needs approximately 10 to 20g of catfood per kg of body weight per day. Adjust this if necessary to maintain the ideal body weight. It is important to keep fresh drinking water available at all times.
